How can I register?

You may register 3 ways:

I didn't receive a mailed invitation.

 

In an effort to reduce paper material use and postage, AAa/e has been sending e-mail announcements with the banquet information.  All of the banquet information can be found online at www.aaaesc.org.  

I would like to purchase an advertisement, what sizes are available and how can I pay?

 

Please download the AAa/e Banquet Sponsorship Form which has all the ad options. Please note that this should be faxed or emailed to ensure your ad is included on time.

 

I am trying to register on-line, I am a member and will be bringing some guests, why am I charged a non-members rate for all my guests when they are members?

 

Due to restrictions with our membership system, we cannot verify your guests' membership without their username and info. If you have guests who are members, please contact AAa/e by phone (213) 896-9270 or by e-mail at banquet@aaaesc.org to proceed with this purchase.


How many people can sit at a table?

 

10 people

Can we split a table purchase with another company?

 

Yes. If one company is making the payment, you may register online and fill in both company names. Should you wish to split payment with another company, kindly contact AAa/e to receive split invoices.  NOTE: In order for a split table to qualify for the AAa/e Members' rate, each sponsoring firm on the split table must have at least 1 current AAa/e member. If only 1 firm is a member than the split table will be charged the non-members' rate.

Can I register onsite at the event?

 

We highly recommend you register before the event to ensure your seat at the banquet.  Last year’s banquet nearly sold out prior to the event.  We cannot guarantee that seats will be available for onsite registration.  Registration closes on September 24, 2010, unless we have sold all seats before that time.

When does registration close for the event?

 

Event registration will be closed on September 24, 2010 or when all the seats are sold.

I registered for a guest, but they cannot make it, can I change my guests name?

 

If you purchased a table of 10, please use your client area link to view and update your guests’ name. If you purchased less than 10 seats, kindly email banquet@aaaesc.org, with your guest name change. We will be able to accommodate the name change until Tuesday October 5, 2010. After that time, please inform our registration staff of the change when you arrive, allow a few minutes for this to be updated at the venue - please note; should your original guest attend, they will be charged.

I need a copy of my receipt/ I need an invoice.

 

Please email banquet@aaaesc.org for this request; you will receive a copy within 24 business hours.

 

Can I refund my purchase?

 

All refund requests must be received by September 9, 2010.

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be made three weeks prior to event, 9/9/10. No shows will still be charged. Registration is non-transferable to another event, please send a substitute if you are unable to attend this event.

I am trying to register but the system does not recognize me as a member/ says my password is invalid.

 

Please contact AAa/e Member Services at banquet@aaaesc.org. Membership dues are paid annually and only valid for the current calendar year. If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2010, the system will charge you a non-members rate. You may renew online or by contacting AAa/e Member Services.

The links in the email that AAa/e sent do not work.

How can I make a donation to the AAa/e?

 

Please download the Banquet Sponsorship Form, you will find instructions on how to mail in your donation – thank you for supporting the Asian American Architects/Engineers Association.

What is the dress code?

 

This is a formal event with assigned table seating. Black tie is preferred.
